Senior Mechanical Engineer

We're a multi global leading supplier within the offshire industry. We're seeking an experienced and talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and solutions for our diverse range of industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Design: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, equipment, and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
2. Project Management: Plan and manage mechanical engineering projects, including defining project scope, creating schedules, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, offering innovative solutions and resolving complex mechanical engineering challenges.
4. Design Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, considering factors such as cost, quality, efficiency, manufacturability, and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in mechanical engineering, preferably in heavy industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
