Senior Director of Product Management

We are hiring a Senior Director, Product Management to lead the Tour Operations Product team. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, you will own the full operational lifecycle of a tour: procurement through production operations. Not only will you drive product vision, strategy, and key roadmap initiatives, you will strengthen the evolving team through coaching, hiring, and direct management.

In this role, you will need to balance iterative near-term results with achieving the long-term vision. You should be a strong cross-functional collaborator, an excellent communicator, and a highly capable strategic thinker. You will excel in this role if you love crafting a strategic story to solve customer problems to deliver business value, getting your hands dirty in the details when needed, and shaping and supporting a maturing team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Senior Director of Engineering, own prioritization, communication of, and delivery against the long-term vision and goals that drive strategies for a portfolio of products
  • Think big in order to drive the strategic direction of your products, while being able to dive deep into the details when needed to guide the team
  • Work with the team to set the product roadmap across multiple consumer-facing verticals while stepping in as a front-line PM on a vertical when needed
  • Reinforce a product practice that relies on clear, measurable success criteria
  • Define and advance metrics and analyze test results to inform the success of products and features shipped
  • Guide cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, designers while playing a key role in organizing and communicating their work across the organization
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including but not limited to Design, Research, Engineering, Analytics, Land and Air Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance leaders to build and deliver highest value impact to the business

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management experience driving strategy, roadmap, metrics and execution; 3+ years managing, coaching and developing a team of high-performing, outcome-focused product managers
  • Highly skilled in building cross-department collaboration, communicating the role and value of high-caliber product management
  • Track record of owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goals that drive strategies for a portfolio of products
  • You have a strong analytical mindset that you partner with a deep empathy and interest in our customers and internal users
  • Experience in growing and fostering a test and learn practice and integrating this into roadmap planning
  • Highly skilled in collaboration with UX and engineering, creating true partnerships
  • You have strong ownership, communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills with a track record in building successful cross-departmental relationships to drive results and remove roadblocks
  • Experience in supply chain management, inventory and planning applications, or data integration is a plus but not required
