Medior Python Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the development and improvement of back-end components and the coordination of releases every sprint. You will be working with a team of designers, product owners, and developers to create data-driven microservices and solutions that enable our salespeople to reach out to the right company at the right time. You will work closely with the feature teams globally and in the Netherlands, and will be a single point of contact for all back-end activities. You will ensure that all back-end activities are being done properly and in line with the sprint plan and architectural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the single point of contact for back-end operations of your own projects

* Work with the application architecture system, including multi-tenancy and reusable services

* Coordinate and perform releases every sprint (bi-weekly)

* Develop and improve components, translate user stories into back-end solutions, and advise the team on options and their impact

* Ensure code governance and documentation are in place

* Perform quality assurance over the software stack

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong development background in Python, SQL, and Airflow

* Experience in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure, serverless, cloud SQL, Kubernetes, and Pub/Sub

* Experience with ETL jobs and data enrichment as well as exposing the results through (micro) services

* Proficient in developing Enterprise grade software solutions

* Experienced in GIT version control

* Familiar with unit testing, TDD and/or similar

* Familiar with agile way of working, SCRUM

Work Schedule: Partly remote, work together on location in The Netherlands least 1-2 days a week. Specific day in the office is every Wednesday.
