IT Security Specialist – Disrupt!

For an established company with an IT hub, with more than 100+ tech professionals, based in Prague and we are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join their team. As an IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems, networks, and data. You will also be involved in implementing detection rules and various IT security tools and products. Additionally, you will cover the full cycle of UC.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of areas in information security, including network security, application security, cloud security, data security, and identity and access management
• Familiarity with security architecture principles in both enterprise and cloud environments
• Experience with implementing and managing SIEM solutions
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and the ability to develop and maintain scripts to automate security tasks

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents
• Work with other IT teams to ensure the security of our systems and networks
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate security tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in information security
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
• Knowledge of SIEM solutions, networks, OS, malware and other cyber security subjects
• Knowledge of scripting languages
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
