Hardware engineer (FPGA) up to 75k

Job Title: FPGA Hardware Engineer

Location: Amsterdam

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Hardware Engineer to join our growing team. As an FPGA Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of FPGA-based hardware systems for a variety of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based hardware systems for a variety of applications

• Work with software and firmware engineers to integrate FPGA-based hardware systems into larger systems

• Perform FPGA design and verification using VHDL or Verilog

• Develop and optimize FPGA-based algorithms and IP cores

• Design and implement high-speed interfaces and communication protocols

• Develop test plans and perform system testing to ensure hardware and software compatibility

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in FPGA technology and apply best practices to hardware design

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in FPGA design and implementation

• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog

• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx ISE/Vivado or Altera Quartus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog or SystemC

• Familiarity with ARM-based systems and SoC design

• Knowledge of embedded systems design and development
