Embedded Software Engineer

We are supporting a company in Liebefeld, Bern in hiring an ambitious and talented Embedded Software Engineer to join their team.

The company provides products and services for accelerating the development of real-time simulation and testing systems. The company's solutions aim to reduce development time, increase product reliability, and enable rapid prototyping and testing of complex systems in a safe and controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate and optimize the RTOS
• Develop low-level C/C++ software interfaces between the RTOS
• Troubleshoot and analyze real-time performance using MATLAB, Simulink, and other third-party tools.
• Collaborate professionally with internal and external development teams and partner companies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive software architecture and interface documentation, including usage notes and guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Electronical Engineering or similar
• Experience using Real Time Operating Systems such as QNX or VxWorks
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, MATLAB and Simulink
• Knowledge of device driver development
• Knowledge of Ethernet-based communication protocols
• Strong English communication skills
