Cryogenic Engineer – Semiconductors

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cryogenic Engineer to join our team in the semiconductor industry. As a Cryogenic Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of cryogenic systems used in our advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Cryogenic Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize cryogenic systems for semiconductor manufacturing, including cooling and refrigeration systems, cryostats, and temperature control systems.
• Conduct research and development activities to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of cryogenic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of cryogenic systems into semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance of cryogenic systems to ensure their optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all cryogenic engineering activities.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external stakeholders regarding cryogenic systems and their applications in semiconductor manufacturing.

Cryogenic Engineer - Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cryogenic engineering principles, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Experience in designing and optimizing cryogenic systems, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in using cryogenic simulation software and other engineering tools.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to cryogenic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
