Backend Firewall Developer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in C++ or Python development, to join the Firewall Product Development team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Firewall products in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things related to networks and firewalls, and a track record of developing scalable and high-performance software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software testers and web developers to design, develop, and maintain our Firewall products.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in C++ or Python.
• Develop and maintain our Firewall products in a Linux environment.
• Ensure high-performance and scalability of our Firewall products.
• Design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Maintain and optimize existing codebase.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Work with OpenSource technologies and contribute to the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in C++ or Python development.
• Experience in developing software in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Firewall technologies and related protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, VPN, etc.
• Experience with network programming and sockets.
• Familiarity with OpenSource technologies and community contributions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
