Accounts Assistant

Darwin Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a company based in Stockholm that owns and develops digital platforms and services in Sports. This company was founded in 2007, has a group total of 160 employees, a head office in Stockholm with further offices in Norway and the USA and has 2,000,000 unique visitors every week to their channel. About the role:

This company today consists of 17 legal entities whose financial management is currently mostly managed by the company's central financial organization in Sweden of 4 people and one person in Norway. The company currently has established processes and routines for financial work, but operates in a changing environment that constantly requires development.

The role entails overall accounting responsibility for some of the smaller companies within the group as well as support in all processes for the larger companies and the entire group.

The position also involves close collaboration with other departments and stakeholders within the company, such as business area managers, sales and management team and other colleagues.

Main tasks:

· Current accounting

· Responsible for Accounts Receivable

· Monthly and Annual accounts

· VAT reporting

· Corporate responsibility for some of the group's smaller companies

· Ad hoc tasks to improve administrative processes within the group.

· Support and advice for business area managers

· They work with the latest financial systems (Netsuite) and are driven by constantly improving and developing our processes.
