Data Warehouse Engineer -St.Gallen

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in St.Gallen where we are looking to hire a temporary Data Warehouse Engineer to start as soon as possible.

Conditions:

• Day Rate: CHF 700 - 1000
• Start date:September 2023
• Duration: 6 months + extensions
• Location: St.Gallen, Switzerland / Home office

Desired Outcome: To work on our clients core banking implementation project and to help change the data model on the data warehouse side.

Overview / Scope:

• Support in the project business with regards to a major upcoming release
• Implementation of demands from main process groups as well as from group strategy project
• Management of data Security and ensuring industry compliance standards and regulations throughout the warehouse lifecycle
• Working closely across cross functional teams to get a better understanding of data requirements across the business and deliver effective data solutions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer/Developer in the financial or banking industry
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL developement with the ability to create and optimize complex data from varous source and transfer and load into the date warehouse
• Previous experience working with Power Center informatica
• A good understanding of ETL Development and processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with the ability to understand data requirements and come up with efficient and scalable solutions.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
