Electronics Engineer

Electronics Engineer / St Gallen, Switzerland / CHF 650-800 per day

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in St Gallen, Switzerland where we are looking to hire a temporary Electronics Engineer to start as soon as possible. Home office 2 days per week is OK.

General Conditions:

• Start Date: October 2023 (ASAP)
• Location: St Gallen 3 days per week, home office 2 days per week
• End Date: October 2024 / + extensions (project duration 18-24 months)
• Day Rate: Depends on experience. Approx CHF 650-800

My client develop:

• sensor fusion system
• imagers and image processing in FPGAs / SOMs
• a LIDAR system (also project content)
• integrate a GNSS unit
• integrate various IMUs and accelerometers
• high speed computing
• including a complex and highly efficient power system
• some motors and other actuators

As an Electronics Engineer you will design some of the various PCBs, mainly develop the electronics and draw the schematics. We are looking for an engineer with approx 2-6 years experience. The layout will be outsourced.

After boards production bring-up, system integration, improvement loops, ramp-up board- and system production. All in a new team, so a lot of fun.
