Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a Frontend Developer on behalf of a company in Stockholm that is an English speaking Insurtech company who were founded in 2008, currently have 30+ employees in Stockholm and were acquired by a much larger US organisation a year ago now making them a subsidiary of a company that has over 4000+ employees. This company helps insures streamline personal injury claims, combining extensive industry knowledge with advanced AI technology that makes the insurance claims process more accurate, efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working experience developing React web applications.
  • Proven experience in web development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience in software composition within the React framework.
  • An understanding of NextJS and SSR as well as SSG.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
  • Experience with state management libraries/frameworks such as Redux, Mobx, or Recoil.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git.
  • Write unit tests using testing frameworks such as Jest to ensure code reliability.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
