Join our Dynamic Team as a Backend Software Engineer in the Corporate Banking Tribe
Are you an accomplished Software Engineer eager for a fresh and exhilarating opportunity? Our client is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to become an integral part of an innovative engineering team specializing in corporate banking products.
Our client is deeply committed to harnessing cutting-edge technology to spur innovation and deliver extraordinary customer services. As a part of the business trading domain, you'll be at the forefront of creating microservices-based applications that seamlessly operate in a cloud-native environment, harnessing an agile and dynamic tech stack.
The Role:
- Crafting microservices with a cloud-native architectural approach.
- Engaging in Kotlin and Spring backend software engineering.
- Harnessing Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
- Managing infrastructure with OpenShift.
- Overseeing monitoring and alert activities through ELK & Grafana/Prometheus.
- Implementing both unit and integration tests.
Your Responsibilities:
As an valued member of our backend hub, you'll relish being a part of a self-sufficient and autonomous team vested with end-to-end responsibility. Your role will encompass the complete development lifecycle, from refining user stories to monitoring software performance in production. Key elements of your role include:
Dedicating focus to coding and software development.
Guiding and enhancing the team's skill set.
Participating in meaningful dialogues and constructive challenges to bolster decision-making processes.
Qualifications for Success:
- Expert in Java/Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Spring (Boot) & Microservices.
- Solid grasp of test automation practices, CI/CD, deployment tools, and pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for seamless collaboration with business counterparts, coupled with fluent proficiency in English.
