As an Hardware Engineer, the role involves advancing existing cleaning machines and designing the next generation of professional cleaning equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in hardware and firmware development for professional cleaning machines, guiding them from conceptualization to market launch.
- Generate schematic and PCB layouts to facilitate the manufacturing process.
- Construct prototypes, oversee commissioning, and verify electronics until series release.
- Evaluate electronic components, actuators, and sensors for optimal performance.
- Contribute to the certification of both existing and new machine ranges, while actively participating in new conceptualizations.
- Develop requirements and functional specifications to guide the team effectively.
- Support fellow team members in machine development to ensure consistent standards.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess an educational background as an electrical engineer (HF/FH/ETH/TU), preferably with several years of professional experience.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in developing electronic systems in mechanical engineering, emphasizing EMC-compliant PCB design (preferably with Altium).
- Showcase broad expertise in analog and digital circuit technology.
- Bonus: Proficient in MCU programming in C/C++ and familiarity with lithium and lead battery technology, including charging technology.
- Capable of confidently managing project responsibilities.
- Exhibit innovation, goal-oriented focus, and motivation as a proactive problem-solver.
- Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking skills, coupled with creativity and inventiveness.
- Ability to tackle technical problems and devise innovative solutions suitable for series production.
- Outstanding social skills, initiative, and reliability, facilitating seamless integration into the existing team.
