Roles and Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Collaborating on and executing the ESG Action Plan within the corporate framework, contributing to the development of resultant initiatives both within Poland and across the Baltic States.
  • Accumulating essential data for annual reports tailored for investors, adhering to the stipulations of SFDR and Taxonomy. Additionally, preparing the company for reporting in accordance with CSRD standards.
  • Vigilantly observing shifts in market trends and regulations pertinent to ESG and sustainable progress.
  • Nurturing close partnerships with the units responsible for ESG objective implementation and attainment on both the national and corporate scale.
  • Devising and enacting appropriate documents, policies, and management systems aligned with the overarching ESG ambitions.
  • Collaborating with external consultants lending support to ESG objective achievement.

Required Skills

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Familiarity with concepts such as ESG, CSR, sustainable development, SFDR, CSRD, CSDDD, and EU taxonomy.
  • Practical engagement in a comparable role involving strategic development, project execution, and ESG reporting (minimum of 2 years).
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking, data collection, analysis, and deriving insights.
  • Capability to monitor and comprehend legal and regulatory ESG stipulations, linking them to business practices.
  • Well-developed communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a readiness for interpersonal interaction. Proficiency in delivering presentations in both Polish and English.
  • English proficiency at a writing and speaking level of B2/C1.

Preferred Skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards.
  • Acquaintance with the specificities of Poland's RES industry.
  • Understanding of the transfer of ESG risk to distinct areas of RES operations.
