Your mission:

• Gathering Requirements and Preliminary Design Concept Formulation.
• Guide the progression of electrical and avionics systems from development and prototyping to testing, integration, and certification, aligning with established systems engineering standards.
• Furnish engineering expertise for the designated systems, encompassing aid for procurement, production, flight testing, issue diagnosis, and the initiation of design adjustments.
• Administer technical oversight for the allocated work packages, involving the orchestration of activities across divisions and collaboration with suppliers.
• Provide Technical Support for Bids and Sales Management by generating feasibility studies, preliminary cost and timeline estimations, and aiding customer Design Reviews.
• Compose and assess System Safety Analysis and Functional Hazard Analysis documentation.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering.
• Proficiency acquired through 5 years of engagement in a system engineering role, concentrating on the development and incorporation of electrical and/or avionics systems.
• Valuable familiarity with the aerospace field or a similar industry with a safety critical focus.
• Beneficial understanding of military COM and IFF systems.
• Added advantage of familiarity with FMS, HUD, and FCS systems.
• Working comprehension of certification prerequisites from FAA/EASA.
• Capability to collaborate within a dynamic and culturally diverse team.
• Experience in managing requirements and utilizing tools like Doors is a plus.
• Central to success is your disposition: the perfect candidate demonstrates professionalism and initiative, driving progress and making informed decisions.
• Fluency in English at a C1 level; proficiency in German is an additional asset.
