We are seeking an experienced Application Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in upholding the quality standards of our software products through meticulous testing and analysis. If you have a strong foundation in testing methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and a drive for continuos improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in creating, executing, and managing test scripts across a range of applications.
• Contribute to the testing environment by working on multiple applications and effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize a diverse set of testing techniques and formats to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• (Beneficial) Possess ISTQB certifications and experience in automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Execute quality-control tests under moderate supervision, analyzing results to ensure software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test cases/scripts and execute them in accordance with established testing methodologies.
• Exhibit familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and a variety of tools, including defect management and application life cycle tools.
• Log defects with precision and provide supporting attachments, documenting issues and generating meaningful Test Metrics.
• Maintain and update test cases/scripts and associated data for assigned scenarios.
• Meet designated design and execution benchmarks while participating in peer reviews, test planning, and reporting.
• Adhere to testing policies and guidelines, demonstrating proficiency in relevant tools and technologies defined for the project.
• Excel in one or more testing areas, whether it's Manual, Automation, or Performance testing.
• Contribute to the implementation of Testing Lifecycle Management best practices and automation strategies.
• Interact primarily with the Test Lead for project-specific information and guidance.
• Actively mentor and provide guidance to junior-level testers.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience OR an advanced degree without experience; OR equivalent work experience required.
• Demonstrable experience in creating and executing test scripts across diverse applications.
• Exposure to various testing techniques and formats, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of testing practices.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools, including defect management and application life cycle tools.
• (Beneficial) Possession of ISTQB certifications and experience in automated testing.
• Proficiency in Manual, Automation, or Performance testing, with a desire to expand skill sets.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and dedication to producing high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for working in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior-level testers.
